Make sure that the new O2 has the wires in the same pins. Sometimes they are different.

Only one way the o2 sensor can plug in. And yes the tube is hooked up right before the TB, about 6 inches away.

I'd also try rotating the MAF. My Cobra MAF used to be finicky about its position.

I will try that. Thank you.

So i think i found a problem. My throttle plate is stuck open slightly:

Notice how it's not contacting the stop screw?

Well when i push forward on this thing with the large spring on it:

The idle drops to where it's supposed to be.

So, how the hell to i adjust that? I loosened the small 8mm nut on the bottom, but that just holds the plunger in the TB.

The two 14mm nuts on the cable bracket.

IDLE HAS BEEN FIXED!

It was the cold idle adjustment screw right there in the second picture. It was holding the throttle plate open just enough. You have to use a small allen key to adjust it. It idles at 1500 rpm's cold and about 850-900 warm. No more fluctuation at idle, no more high idle, and the driveability at low rpm's has been restored!

So nice

I was directed to this thread in hopes to fix my THREE YEAR idle issue. Funny, Dave you came to mind many times as someone local who may be able to help me and here you are with similar issues. My thread is in my signature. At least you idle cold...mine won't :-(
Same scenario too oddly, I also initially fired my car after the swap NA without the turbo items installed. It idled no problem until the boost items were installed. Same deal, goes like a raped ape and idles at 900 rpm once warmed up, but no cold idle, no idle adjustments ability, no "timing mode" ability. Please scope my thread and read...gurus.
