The amoutn of money and work to do a half radiator and re-route hoses and all that stuff is NOT worth it. You may as well stick to a stock cast manifold instead of all that.

On the GTi-R ones on ebay, as I said before, get the head flange belted down for a nice flat mating surface and you should be fine! You will have same clearance as you do with stock in terms of the block and have more clearance around the runners for lines and so on.

I know this thread is dead...but did anyone try out this manifold? I might buy it, but i'd like some feedback before i spend $240.

I thought likethemovies had one? Did he ever put it on? i think he was the one who bought one off ebay.

I have a heavily moded rwd ebay one on my car now but i dont have the car up and running yet.

Yeah it doesnt seem like too bad of a deal, i would just recommend having the flanges planed or whatever to make them flat.

If i dont like the turbo set up i have now i may try the turbine tech gtir manifold with an evo 8 turbo.

I bought one a couple of months agoand test fitted it up and it "fit fine". I have yet to actually use it yet , still gathering misc items before i actually install it. For what it is seems to be pretty decent for 240 bux.

If they still have the off thing you can offer them so it's 200 shipped... It did not fit well with my gt28R so I didn't use it.
