Thread: RS5F32V Tear down

Who has replaced synchros in their box, if so chime in with any issues. I pressed apart two main shafts, the 1st one the 3rd 4th synchro hub got f'ed up coming off which does not make sense. The second set I could literally move the 1st gear about a quarter inch before dis assembly.

Sure you got the synchro hub back on the correct direction? Pretty sure they're offset to one side

This issue was coming off, a transmission that had never been touched
