BORI REPP'IN it!
well i got one run in saturday,I got to the track late and it was packed.with a reaction time of +.2393 which is not my normalI managed a 60ft 1.97, E.T.8.2@87mph@1/8th track, 14lbs boost on M/T E.T. street radials w/19psi of air.I was happy with results knowing that next time a better reaction time, 18lbs of boost, 15-16psi on the tires could get me in the high 7's.on a perfect DAY.lol

Good luck on getting the clutch worked out,I know how you feel being thats it's your daily driver.YOU have proven your point that you cant sleep on daily driven SE-R's...

How much power are you making? And have you run 1/4 mile with that setup?

Im just trying to compare similar setups and times.

I ran a 8.2@93mph with a horrible 2.2 60ft.(launch control set too low and forgot laptop)

just letting you know reaction time has nothing to do with your et at all. Reaction time is more for heads up bracket racing. As it does matter then but still not on your et but who finishes first overall.

how is it that i beat'em to the finish line(catch'em) but they get the win?

because they got the better reaction time....In drag racing as far as win or lose goes it takes your ET and subtracts the reaction time from it. So your overal time goes up. But your et again is not affected by the reaction time.

So say you reaction time 1.0 seconds w/ .000 being perfect and run 8.0 in the 1/8. Your total time for the race is 9.0 seconds but your et is still 8.0.

And say the guy your racing runs an 8.80 with a .100 reaction his total time is 8.90 which would give him the win over yours even though his et was slower.

Get your 60ft down and your et will drop. If your just trying to run times dont worry about reaction time. You could leave 10 seconds after the light goes green and still run your 8.0

It sepends on how there timing is set up..... depending on that yes it will affect your et. Sometimes they are added to the et.. I can show this on plenty of my time slips...

Sometimes its set so the clock starts as soon as the light turns green. And other times it starts counting down as soon as you trip the lights!

It depends if autostart is activated or not
