Or the removal of the Consult wiring at the ECU to remedy the datalogger communication issues, as recommended by John Kerr.

The financing for the travel was never the issue, more of a time/materials on hand issue traveling to a farm in LA with new-found remedies to your issues on hand.

None of which matter, not one whit. The only thing that matters is what is your word worth to you?

Regardless of the circumstances, that is something I can't stomach. My respect for you went right out the window at that point. No lost sleep on this end.

Good luck to you and the rest on this board.

The guy that you haven't spoken to in months, are not associated with, not in business with? The one still operating a business under the name Marsh Tuning? The one that we were both cussing at and about during that conversation. That miserable fuck can die in a fire and I'd laugh.

You're grasping at straws to attempt to justify your behavior.

My respect for you vanished at the same time you led me along, then flat-out broke your word Jamie.

I was hoping this whole thing got sorted out after so many years, sad to see that you can't enjoy driving your car the way it should be driven, Shawn.

Thanks Serban. I appreciate it.

I miss my fucking car. Haven't driven it more than once every two (2) weeks, for 6-10 gentle miles at a go, since I drove back from Chris's house in Dallas. Immediately post retrieving it from the thieves, back-stabbers and liars in CT. Then it goes back in my shop and is hooked up to the battery charger. It's been years since I drove the car with intent.

My financial situation is improving (rapidly) and I *should* be able to deliver the car to a gentleman (builder, tuner) near the end of the year to have it finished, tidied up, properly sorted and made fully road-worthy.

Just for laughs....word for word.

Phone texts on Saturday, October 8th, 2016.

Shawn: "For the first time in a couple of decades it has crossed my mind to sell for what I can get and walk away."

Jamie: "And it should never, you put way too much time/money/emotion in this car. You did nothing wrong on your part but trust someone to carry out a transaction."

From back when Jamies word still actually meant something.

Don't be a stranger Shawn. We want to know what you've been up to! No doubt all sorts of things have happened at the farm. Fill us in on some when you get the time and desire. =D

Follow up....March, 2019
The car is being fully sorted and properly tuned by Ashton Roche at Ashton Automotive & Performance in Killeen TX.

Out with the plumbing parts. Hooray.

The CT clown posse used 12 gauge speaker wire for battery grounds.

With the forum SNAFU of 2017, and all that ensued, this situation never got wrapped up from an administrative point of view.
I've added @marksr20 (Mark Merlis), @SR20GTi-R (Jamie Marsh), Justin St. Pierre, Marsh Tuning, and Morfius Performance to the blacklist. Additionally, @SR20GTi-R (Jamie Marsh) is no longer a Vendor on the forum.
Anyone above who has accounts on the forum have been banned from trading.
