Overkill (OEM) thread closed
http://www.sr20-forum.com/overkill-engineering-motorsports/39568-new-way-business.html

I wasn't going to start this thread, but I don't like when I write something on here being edited when in no way shape or from did I come across in a nasty or wrongful way. I posted this in OEM's thread which was close 5 minutes after i had wrote it.

Well when you tell someone it’s going to take 2-3 weeks to build and ship a product and ends up being 8 weeks you can't blame them for filing a PayPal dispute. Maybe you shouldn't bill the person until the product has shipped like Greg-V. I appreciate you sending me out my lip and all but I would have paid you double for a near perfect lip instead of what you sent me. Plus you advertise it with an aluminum shield on the bottom which I never received. Still all through everything you sent me a cf lip which is better then nothing. I wanted to give you a chance and try out something from a forum vendor.

Anyways I do believe your heart was in the right place and like some others said you got in over your head which I've seen happen over the past. I didn't write anyone of this to bash you nor did I start a thread to or give you negative feedback and wish you the best in what you decide to do in the future.

Me a all scratch up plate honestly i think they got them out of the trash and decided to sell them so I posted a complaint but didn't Post pics so. I agree with them no longer making products for multiple reasons. They should have taken things a lot slower and tried to make everything perfect and moved on to the next project. OEM's attitude sucked and thus things are ending like this. When Calum left everyone still loved him because he had great customer service and i am sure he had to deal with a lot of "bad" customers.

I am glad i never went through with the control arms but after i sent mine in so they would have a set free of charge. They kept pushing the date out because they were working on other projects and making up stupid excuses as to why they were not getting done. I have heard first hand of a few times they messed up and did not offer to fix the issue at all or try to charge a restocking fee for incorrect parts. As a small company customer service has to be #1, if you mess up fix it. everyone makes mistakes, its how you deal with them and learn from them that makes you successful.
