OK I am gonna post my opinions on the subject now too. This thread is out of hand. Nothing but he said she said BS. Both parties appear to could have done things better. Jason in not being so, well, just plain dumb with his money and Jun at being less than helpful in explainig his side of things in more detail.

This is typical of my experience at the NY convention. Drama on all sides, who has what, who did what, who's is better, being elitist and secretive..... Regardless I cannot understand how this has snowballed to the witch hunt towards Jun and the flat out hatred being displayed. Bottom line is this, if this makes you think he is less than honest relative to his car busniess dealings, great don't deal with him, but to persecute him to the extent that has been done is ridiculous.

Before anyone says it I will add this disclaimer. I am not defending Jun's practices in any way. I have NEVER been a follower and have more than my fair share of indefference with Jun about his red car and many of th people that are friends with him. I am simply a human being that is baffled by the grade school gang up that has occurred here....

In the end remember that we ar all people and capable of making mistakes, being on this side of things does not make us any better or worse than Jun or Jason.

Your were the one who who brought up the whole Tarmac motorsport/Jun owner thing which had noithing to do with what the op started this thread about. Basically opening the flame gates when not knowing the facts. I understand your point about bringing it to the table to keep people on the forum informed, but without knowing all the facts it started a huge deal.

This has nothing to do with me per sae, but I wanted to know. I found something and I reported it. I asked for him to clear up that information for me, and he did (somewhat) via PM. I don't understand his need to hide when he could have explained it to the public.

It had to do with the thread in my opinion, because the OP was only attacking JMR Garage and not Tarmac Motorsports, yet mentioned them in the debaccle.

The motor thats going in Jasons car I purchased as a complete swap from canada.

Its a full sr16 longblock/trans.

I took the trans off and sold to Tuned. Steve, one of my employees who the motor was for stopped doing the project and the motor was completed 2-3 weeks later at the machine shop.

The motor was picked up last week from the machine shop still wrapped in plastic.

The short block has the following:

Wiseco 86.5 9.5:1 pistons with upgraded tool steel wrist pins
Manley H Beam rods with arp 2000 bolts
Calico HX coated bearings throughout
DE 8cw crank, balanced and polished
DE Girdle
Mazworx head and main studs

Attached are the pictures below.

It is none of my business to spout jasons personal business or his bill with us.

Jason purchased the complete built short block, wrapped in plastic from steve through me for 1500.

The machine work on the motor at my cost was 950. It got everything, bore, hone, full balancing, polished crank, hand filed fit rings, full assembly, line honed yada yada.

We took a beating on this motor as if you add up the parts plus the cost of the motor and all the non VE parts into it. We gave it away.

I hope those pistons clear the valves with the sr16 cams

nice...should make 500hp easy
