B13 with P10 rear brake upgrade, what pads to use for track day?
OK, since the search function is not working can someone chime in on what brake pads to use on the rear for track days? Current brake system on my 1994.5 B13 LE 2-door with GA16DE is:
-Wilwood 4-piston Dynalite 11" Fastbrakes kit for front
-P10 rear disc conversion with JDM NX2000 slotted rear rotors from Fastbrakes
-SS lines front and rear
-U13 Altima brake master cylinder
-Motul RBF 600 fluid.

Current suspension mods are:
-MFactory coilovers with 4k springs
-ST front swaybar
-Progress rear swaybar set full stiff
-TurboFX adjustable heim-jointed rear lower control arms
-Whiteline front caster bushings
-Whiteline front strut bar
-Whiteline front 4-point subframe brace

Track day tires are 205/50R15 Nitto NT05.

I currently use the Wilwood BP-10 for daily duties, and Wilwood Polymatrix-Q for track days up front. I used to track the car on the original rear drums with no issues, but have yet to do a track day since I upgraded to rear disc brakes and larger brake master cylinder.

So I am needing info on which rear pad to use to go with for ideal brake balance. Fire away.

I've played the street/track pad game for too long. I finally got into a full race pad and couldn't be happier (it sounds like you have too). They actually perform well on the street too! They are loud though, and dust a good bit. On the track they are next level, and do not deposit onto the rotors unevenly. They are as close to the full package as I've ever seen.

I'm talking about Hawk HT-10 pads.

Now these are very grabby pads (their only high-torque racing pad) so you'll want to factor that in when only putting them in the rear. Ideally you'd have them all around, but if you think you could use some more rear bias, they would be a good choice.

Yea I normally have dedicated street pads and dedicated race pads for any of my cars I track.

So far Porterfield and Hawk HT. Any one use the Carbotech pads on the P10 rear calipers? I use Carbotech on my Juke Nismo RS and I like their performance grouping naming/classifications and how they perform. But Carbotech is very expensive, about $340 for all 4 corners depending on which level of pad used.

Our former Sentra SE-R has p10 rear upgrade and we used Hawk HPS in the rear with Hawk Blue on the front AD22VF FWIW

and on our P10, we use HPS rear with Hawk DTC60 on the p11 fronts

Same B13 setup with Hawk Blues in front & HPS on P10 rear upgrade. With N1 cammed VE & 70mm TB with ported N1 manifold. Pads
are value priced & very effective, great modulation.

Not that I'm aware of for the stock B13 SE-R rear calipers but YES they do for the P10 rear calipers (which is what our former Sentra has)
