Mix matched brake rotors...
So kinda irritated right now.. i ordered all the shit to refresh my brakes and since I couldn't find 2 of the same rotor from 1 vendor for a decent price on eBay I ordered 2 front raybestos 98280r rotors from seperate sellers.. and this is what I now have..

As you can see, one rotor has a smaller slotted section but the friction part is thicker while the other is the opposite.. also they arent Exactly the same over all thickness.. both boxes show the same part # an everything but I guess they changed their design at some point..

Please advise! Lol

Well...thicker rotor (right) will last longer ...I don't see any real concern... JMO

But maybe put the thicker/heavier rotor on the pass. side to offset the weight from the tub-o-goo in the driver's seat.

Haha, I'm just concerned about weight difference between the 2 sides.. worst case is I can use em for a bit an if I have issues get a matted pair locally.. which sucks cuz they are spendy that way lol
Wish I had a scale..

I did think about which side would be better for each one tho, longer axle or shorter axle..

Yeah, it's totally fine.

Think about it this way, your axles are different weight (short vs. long), and they don't affect your rotational mass
