Rear AGX's
Are rear AGX's not available for the B13 anymore? If not, must we buy the GR-2's?

They are no longer available. I ran GR2s on the street for a while. I guess what you purchase would depend on your plans for the car and your budget.

KYB is a piece of shit company that admitted to working with Nissan and others to artifically inflate the AGX line of shocks. Fuck that dirty ass company.

I won't even buy normal replacements anymore from KYB. They are dead to me.

I see. Well, not much for street options then.

Plenty of street options.

But you have to think, and do some custom work, to make it legit for the street.

Just looking for simple replacements for some blown AGX's. The car really doesn't need much performance. It just has to support the Hyperco springs. Thinking of throwing GR-2's in there and calling it a day just because it's a direct replacement. No need for custom work on this particular car.

All the aftermarket replacements I Just looked at on RockAuto are crap to me. I know Todd's Old car and your new pride and joy. Here is our photo shoot together. We live about 18 miles away.

Mine is a 94k gem. I still have the OEM rear suspension from the factory on the rear and it is tired. I replaced the front with all OEM stuff with the exception of using a KYB GR-2 strut. It sucks. It is a worthless damper for the car. It is not what the OEM was. My father sold the car in 1994 and drove them and it is not the same. I am unhappy with the KYB unit from the first bump I hit and first turn I took without his input to boot.

Here is a How To make your own custom Koni made by @Char in his wonderful grace http://www.sr20-forum.com/brakes-suspension/78068-guide-building-custom-koni-shorts-csks.html

This is a far superior choice than the units I see on Rock Auto. Names such as Gabriel, Monroe, Sachs are all I see for a 1992 Sentra SE-R, 2.0 Liter. Complete junk and nothing like the factory. And all factory units are Out Of Production. I tried that route on all four corners. They may exist but they are aging and in hiding somewhere lost in a parts department perhaps.

It sucks trying to maintain the car that is so old with parts becoming more difficult to acquire either being OEM or simply better aftermarket options because accepting worse than OEM is sacrilege.

Thanks for the pics and info Kyle! Yes I still have Todd's old car but that has essentially stayed the same and will stay roughly the same as long as I have it (only changes made are an led trunk light and fog lamp covers). The replacement rear struts will be for my sister-in-law's b13. She really has no need for performance but she needs a strut that will hold up to the progressive stiffness of the hyperco I springs that are already on the car. Her rear agx struts are pretty shot. This presents a problem since I doubt the rock auto ones could handle it. But a simple bolt in strut is all that's needed. I love CSK but it would honestly be a waste of money for her. No performance intentions and a cheap budget is on her mind.
