Hmmm. I have a blown set of basics that are collecting dust. I don't suppose you know what the insert model # that was used and the level of difficulty they where to get in the housing? Please tell me it's as easy as screwing that gland nut down?

@hammerin hank, to me, it seems fairly easy and straightforward (but I have also done my fair share of legwork and measurements). I could put a set of these in my housings and bolted up the my car in about 1 hour tops. But again, i have taken off my dampers/housings/whatever numerous times so I have a fairly solid idea of how things go back together.

If the Basic housing's inside diameter (ID) is not large enough, there is no sense in going any further, if you know what I mean

the basic ID is large enough.

i measured one up and when ever my Nephew's Teins goes, I'm putting some B15 yellows in them.

my Nephew nick name is Crash, so yeah B15 yellow!

EDIT: the B15 basics are longer than the B14's IIRC.

^^ Hahahahahah!! Is he the same one that ran the B15 low on oil prior??

Keo, that picture is just a little misleading as it is (to me) contradicting your point some up to interpretation, I know)
