Thanks, going to focus a lot of my time to improving on what I have. The only real upgrades this year will be brakes and perhaps wheels, tires(r comps), racing seats and harness.
Car has performed really well last year, got 1st place over all in the street class in a field of evos, imprezas k20 civic hatch. Still trying to improve on my driving as tire wear suggest that I may not be pushing hard enough and some of the videos you can see the runs looks conservative in some areas. One of the reasons I don't like to just bolt on a bunch of parts and expect to win things.

That's awesome, congrats on the wins, how much does your car weight btw?

I have no idea to be honest. It is very stripped out. Hood has been gutted trunk has been gutted, I interior is stripped except for the sound deadening. So I would think it is fairly light.

Did some work on my rear sway bar this weekend. Basically chopped the end arms off and welded in a steel arm with two attachment points to adjust stiffness.

^slots were cut in the sway bar and to the arms. Just doing this, I was able to pick up the sway bar using the arms with just one tack weld on each side.
Should be strong.

^I kinda like that pic with the ride just in view. was not intentional. Welds are a bit ugly because I went to do a second pass and it made it look like crap now.

I do feel an initial better response and as a huge plus, the clanking noise it made before is now gone!!!! the drive this morning was so peaceful....

Good work on the weld job

However, the swaybar will be a fair bit more effective if you could attach the middle points to the chassis as opposed to the beam.

So just flipping it around then? so the arms are attached to the beam and the poly mounts are on the chassis?

No. What I am recommending is no part of the swaybar should be attached to the beam

The center section of the bar, where it connects to the beam, I was recommending it be attached to the chassis (and probably reinforce the mounting location).

I'm sorry, I am having a hard time trying to picture what you are trying to tell me. Must need another cup of coffee.
Like this: MotoIQ Spec-V

That is taking it to the extreme, but somewhat of the same concept

Below is a MUCH simpler solution

Also, here is the link to the MOTOIQ setup for reference (which is probably where you got the picture from lol)

Lol, That is a good solution, find something with an independent rear suspension.

On the real, @cayman_primera keep it up and please keep updating for us.
