Thread: Swapping motors where am I now?

OK I've been running DSP with some success in a very lightly modified b13. Sadly my DE has some compression, cam pitting and sludge issues and I'm going to be swapping in a sr20VE to take it's place, so I stay same block, displacement and NA, but add VVL and a higher compression (I think 11:1). Probably going to have the AV22 brake upgrade (larger rotors), a lightened flywheel, and a better clutch, also adding motormount inserts and probably bushings (including the superpro caster bushings).

Does this place me in (D?) Street Modified? If not where am I now.

As far as I know it will put you in SM.
Are the AD22 allowed in DSP?

the engine swap will put in street mod.
