Thread: CKRSCCA Fun Event video

Here's video from our latest fun event.Not really my best day,but still fun.The lot we use is small,sealed asphalt.Actually has decent grip,but a lot of elevation/camber challenges involved.The course was not FWD friendly at all,but you gotta do what you can.

If you just look at the results regardless of driver experience or car prep,I look like a friggin hero.Beat down a Lotus Exige,GTR,supercharged Z06,and a some other cool stuff.Mostly newbies,but it still sounds cool.There was even a guy with a 1970 Subaru 360.Really.Google that for a pic.I almost crapped myself with disbelief.

Bucky.. googling the CKR region I find that you are not too far away. What Autocrosses do you like to hit up normally? Maybe if I end up getting the NX debugged and ready to go with some new shoes we can have a throw down . Of course, all just for fun.

The closest I get to you is probably KYR (Kentucky Region) in Louisville.Get the car together and come on down sometime,or pick an event near you and I'll come up.I really can't skip a home event,being one of the solo chairs.Plus I haven't missed one in 12 years,so I want to keep that going

Interesting news however, I had an email from someone about my car on another forum, either SCCAforums or one of the Karting forums. So who knows.. You could be trying to catch me in a Kart . If thats the case, I would like to make a run to so so close national event. Who knows what will happen.

I know I am sad I will not be running the NX this weekend at our opening autoX at Mid American Air Center in Lawrenceville IL. Maybe Ill get a ride along, but Im sure I will have plenty of entertainment working the course.
