Hey guys im in the process of building my engine i have a stock crank polished and fully balanced cp pistons 86mm 9:1 carillo pro h rods with carr bolts and acl race bearings in thr bottom end all this is going in a s15 block with a p12 vvl head and mazxworx main and head studs with a presicion 6262 turbo how reliable will my engine be is tgere any weak points i should address now before i put the engine in

note main studs torqued to 60lb/ft, anymore than that you will have to line bore.

try and get a p12 vet or sr16ve oil pump. they have extra ribs for cover strengthening.

Spunds like a solid build. Other than the oil pump i would try and increase oil capacity and cooling via an oil cooler and a larger oil pan. Both are going on my silvia. What head gasket are you going to use?

I was going to use mazxworx metal headgasket im debating on sending my block to mazxworx to get the 5hole oil journal upgrade and halfinch headstuds but idk if its worth it an my town is still a disaster i live at the jersey shore

setup sounds almost like mine

sr20det bottom end
sr20ve P12 head
precision 6262
44psi = 621rwkw on E85

thats just a quick run down but clearly there is more to it then just that
