Drag Racing
Hello Everyone:

We have all heard and read about the free day and going drag racing... Most of us in the community(not all) drag race, and I am thinking we can get an idea of how many people will be willing to go drag racing friday night? Most 1/4 mile tracks are booked in the area for saturday and sunday, we are searching for a track for saturdays "free day".

I read that Cecil is 1-1/2 hours away from the road course and the gates open at 5pm on friday night. If we can get a headcount I would like to make arrangements with them to have our own lane.. But without a headcount I cant really make the call. So please post here if you think your interested in going.

Thanks

Cecil isn't very strict. It's regulated during event days, but Friday night is street "grudge" match. Heads up runs, basically run what u brung.

If people are genuinely interested, Cecil isn't far from me. I can do a face to face meet with the ownership and square something away.

about time one of these threads was started. Hopefully we'll see some drag racing this convention and less talk.

Last year's convention we did the road course and drag racing the same day. Double Duty Biacht! The forester was kicking ass that day.
