I respectfully disagree Wayne.

He is not being sarcastic, has not read The Suspension Thread, he is dead ignorant, and is trying to do something to our vehicles that simply will NOT work.

I told him what to do here:

One of the first answers in this thread.

And yet JDM_Boy comes up with the brilliant idea of Dropzone springs and GR2's?

Dropzone springs?!? ......

JDM_boy. That suspension combination will suck like a hooker on dollar night.

Read the Suspension Thread, or buy an ultra-sh*tty, ricer, suspension and slam the sh*t out of you vehicle. Your choice, but I am through helping you. You do not want to help yourself, you want to come up with flat-out ignorant "suspension plans" and think it will work.

Read the Suspension Thread and educate yourself like pretty much everyboy else has done. Or you deserve whatever bullsh*t, stupidly engineered, moronic, dangerous, piss-poor suspension you buy.

I put that thread together, specifically so we (as a forum) would not have to address and re-address every newb with "suspension dreams" that are utterly ridiculous. Like your ill-fated "plans."

Best of luck to you.

i have a slammed b14 and I'm running modified civic Tein coils that are smaller than standard b14 shocks so i have more travel and I'd say a 3 to 4 inch drop like that black and gold 200sx

rides as comfortable as a stiff suspension can. if you want comfort don't drop your car. when you lower a car you have to run a stiffer spring rate and dampening to keep from wheel rub or hitting the ground. it's like asking to put a lazy boy in a race car. your suspension will be stiff if you lower your car, if not you will rub and scrape everything.

You trying to edumacate us Brian?

You have three (3) inches of suspension travel stock from the factory. Period. Do you understand that and what it means?

Glad to hear you dropped your car 3-4 inches. You should just do away with your suspension altogether and weld in some rebar instead of those stupid springs and struts.

How's the suspension geometry doing on all the other suspension components? Oh wait....I know...."It's doing just fine."

Dead wrong. Your vehicle rides like hammered ass. Which is what your suspension is doing to your ass.

Wrong.

How you doin' on that 3-4" drop?

Go sit in your Lazy Boy, read the Suspension Thread. Right now all you are doing is advertising your ignorance.

And quit bumping utterly stupid 3-year old threads.

Thanks for bumping the thread. It was in the wrong section so I moved it.

Still don't know why we talk about these things time and time again. At least Brian searched to revive a thread, rather than post a new one.
