PCNW 2012 get-together planning
ok guys so far what i've decided on is to meet at trackforged formerly known as forged performance in troutdale oregon whch is slightly west of portland.

which day would be best? july 7th, 14th, 21st and the 28th are all saturdays. the 14th would be a good choice for me, UNLESS ITS RAINING then we could move the date to say.. the 21st? what do you guys think?

sentraman can contact them to see what they are willing to do, but first lets figure out what we want.

do we want a dyno day?

are we going to do a bbq? if so do we bring our own food or should I or the shop supply it (if they are willing to do so)

should we do a cruise? - my thoughts are it might be cool to do a cruise since we would be in troutdale we could head east then enter back into washington at the bridge of the gods or something then head back west (i love the washington side drive)

or should we goto pir after the event?

i would really like this to be a fwd sr thing.. But. im not opposed to cool cars coming. like friends of yours. however it would kinda suck if more "other" cars showed up then fwd sr's lol so use your best judgment when inviting friends please.

i want a head count of who's interested so vote on the poll please

Cruises more often than not...wind up with tickets and a black eye for the event.

that's a good point, i often fall victim to having fun.

you guys wouldn't believe that my only speeding ticket was in my 77 datsun truck hahahahahah cant believe it myself.

on the other hand if we goto pir, some people may risk breaking things. so they will need to take precautions.

I would rather cruise to PIR and have some drag runs.

that would be good, that way we get a small cruise where we can all drive comfortably then kick the passengers out at the track

not to mention how fun is it to race friends?

i think they bumped pir prices didnt they? its like 28$ to race an 9$? to spectate? pretty much $60 bux gets you and a friend in to race + some fuel.

Yep, I'd be down for that... hopefully my buddies TT G35 will be done by then so we can drag it... Possible to just have a poll for the dates?

Sounds good. I wouldn't mind running my SE-R. Also need to do some dyno time eventually.

I wonder if we can just grab a dolly in case someone breaks stuff. I have a tow hitch on the Foz.

Thats why I have AAA Ben LOL... I would be down for either G-karting or PIR really. Either way if we do Karting I will have to get ahold of my friend Jon ahead of time and preschedule it so we can have a group of our own out there racing instead of having the 9hp karts destroying us LOL
