No RWD Bracket.

Thats a bracket from a stock FWD DE PS pump. Got to keep it simple

cool, i figured it would work that way also, i will definetly be doing this to clear up some room since my turbo intake is on the passenger side and it comes awefully close to the intake pipe making it a little more difficult, plus it will definetly clear up some room in there and would only have one belt, Nice setup again.

Now does the rwd bracket sit too low, the only thing i was worried about was it clearing the axle, i think the p/s pump sits a little higher. Makes sense

Clean motor. I'm very interested to see exactly what this motor puts down......I think I'll be subscribing to this one.

Edit:The 20v maf "didnt" work for me, we tried and couldnt get it to run on a p10 ecu (with daughter board), figured after a bit of playing around that it uses a 5v feed from the ecu, not 12 volt. Q45 is identical in dimensions, so im using one of those now.

Great build, good luck with the numbers, sure to be impressive.

Trust me, I can get the 20v to work. I hate when someone tells me I cant get something to work. I have had the MAF tested already for flow and I know already how it works. RADIO SHACK is your friend.

Again I will be using the 20V MAF.

I will never use a Q45 MAF because the resolution on that MAF is to broad for me and it has resonance problems on a small motor at low RPMs.

a few thinga bout the Alt.

The alt as you guys know sits on the from and rides on the outer pully which is much larger.

So if you run it on the back, it know has to ride on the inner pully which is much smaller than the outer pully.

Now if you do so, the Alt will rotate alot slowet than it is suposed to so at idel you will get no charge, which is ok if you battery is good because but if you have a bad battery you got problems. I noticed this from my first Alt in the back setup nack in 1998. That at idle my lights inide the car and outside would go alittle dim. So we tested it and thats what was going on.

The Alt thats on my car is from one car. The pully is from another car that has a smaller pully. The smaller pully is there to speed up the Alt a bit to get it to charge at idle.

Cool, did you get a VQ map worked out for it?

Admittedly we didnt spend a lot of time on it, didnt have a english FSM at the time to get any further details for wiring, and had another maf that we had VQ's etc for.

Ive still got the 20v maf here, so if you can hook me up with details would be cool.

Didnt mean to offend you, and RADIOSHACK doesnt exist around here, so im not quite sure how they would help me.

Yep, I am going back to my old ways.

The guys down here in Miami used to call my car the NOS hoe.

There is a 15 pound NOS bottle sitting in the back of my car. When the tuning is all sorted out, I will be spraying 150 shot of NOS.

I will be running a 50 shot as the primary stage and then once in 3rd gear the 100 shot will come in.

Back in the day my car ran times from 11.8-12.2 and thats with a fully bolt on DE motor. So I figure with a 2.3L VE that car already run mid 12s the car should run high low 11s, maybe high 10s.


The goal off of NOS is 250 WHP and 200 Lb Ft Torque.

The goal on NOS is 400 WHP and 400 + Lb Ft Torque.
