BC valve springs reviews?
Anyone use these springs. I am thinking of upgrading the springs since I have no idea how high the vet cams can go before they float. I will be investing in a higher rev limit here soon in order to get the full potential of the VE motor. Right now I am revving to 7500. I wanna take her to 8k and see what she can do.

I wanna upgrade the springs, but I wanna know your opinions on these springs. Were they an easy install? Howd you do it? Are they too stiff?

I am just curious since I know guys who have upgraded springs in other cars and the springs are too stiff and try to pull the valves through the seats. I have seen valves with only 10k miles on them with razor sharp edges. I don't want that happening to my head! So let me know how you guys like them!

They are good to 10k, I was going to take them that high but I got supertech instead.

Thats what I have in my car Matt but not for the VE They work well.

Coheed invest in the retainers as well. I run the BC retainers and they are very nice. Its amazing the weight difference from the BC retainers and the OEM.

I just dont wanna have to worry about cracking, which I hear the retainers can over time? I am only thinking of going to 8k or so. I think 8500 would make a really mean powerband. But the gearing will seem really long lol. 3rd would get me to like 110mph or so haha.

Lone wolf make sure you have and external source to control the rev limiter. The stock ecu only goes up to 8100 and thats it. BC's are good.

I have a nistune daughterboard which allows full control over rev-limit, will double check with the tuner though just in case this is true.

Yeah Biki would be in the same boat as calum, any limit i think.

Limit is 8.5K and it's been there many times track day 2 tunes plus street. On the Bc springs and loves it. Havn't checked around the valve seats though.

With the calum ur limited to the ecu thus 8100, after that you better have something to stop it. Loan wolf search the nistune forum, hope I'm wrong.
