Sentra B13 GA16 to SR20VE
Hi everyone! Rookie checking in. Pardon my ignorance. I am from the Philippines; I have a Sentra 1992 B13 with GA16DE, 1.6L, M/T. I am planning to have it swapped with an SR20VE. I checked with an engine supplier in our area, they have an SR20VE with A/T. Here are my questions:

1. If I decide to keep the A/T of the SR20, do I just need to replace my current M/T shifter with a B13 A/T shifter?
2. How does the VVL work in A/T? I mean, do I have to floor the pedal for it to kick in? (Sorry, very rookie question)
3. Any thoughts about SR20VE with A/T?

I am planning to keep the A/T for some months until I find an M/T for the SR20. Thank you! Any input will be greatly appreciated.

cost wise, go MT 5 speed from the get go. you will be investing into harness, mounts, etc that you will have to do again in the future. do it once, skip the disappointment of cvt, save the cash for some n1 cams and have fun.

Thank you canx2k for the tips. Apparently the AT of the VE will not work on my B13. So my plan now is to get a VE engine, harness, engine support etc and get a separate manual tranny from a DE.

Best way to go that route...make sure you get a harness from a 92 se-r as well. That will save you a lot of headaches
