Frankenstein DE/VE build
So I have a 92 B13 se-r, I'm doing a N/a build on it first of all to start I have jwt ecu I have my stock DE bottom end im running det rods with arp rod bolts I have a the VET metal headgasket, VE head I got a great deal for it has aftermarket springs and retainers already, I have a 20v header I'm using and looking at running N1 cams on it with a direct port 100 wet shot for those times I want to go crazy , now I already have a set of VE pistons I'm gonna throw in to run the cams, now here is the deal I'm thinking of running sr16ve pistons skimmed to run about 12:5:1 comp. Now the big question is would it be worth it to run the sr16ve pistons or stick with the oem VE pistons running about 10:1 comp with the n2o? The other option but would be alot more money is running 88mm 12:5:1 CP pistons? Any suggestions would be awesome I'm also using this as my build thread

92mm or bust..haha

I would go sr16 pistons for the higher c/r for additional power especially for when you aren't spraying

Nitrous loves compression. I agree with the above.

Ya in research I saw that the average gain is around 10whp per ratio gained in compression, and in FL we have 93 grade fuel i also have a safc2 ill be running so shouldn't be a problem fine tuning for it
