Ve tuning options
I picked up a 96 b14 with a ve swap. Over bored,n1 cams, custom intake/exhaust. Etc. trouble is it has cold start issues and is not as smooth as I would like. The car has a calum rt board and I'm looking for some options to get this car tuned. Seems like calum is not supported by many in the Seattle area. So what's my next move?

I'm still waiting for someone from that states to try out a dicktator full EMS from south africa. It's all we use over here.

Alternatively I have a UNI-Q multi map piggy back available for cheap.

In the US most of us are running a nismotronic, calum or nistune.

So I have the calum, but my tuner doesn't have the software. Should I have the software to provide? Or where can I get it? Seems like very little info in the web and emails to the company go unanswered.

You need a copy of tunerpro. It is free so you can give him a copy or just send him a link.

Great video. So where do I get nismotroinic software and can it work with my calum RT board ? Then I assume there is a cost for you to review and send tunes until we get it right.

Nismotronic and Calum are two completely different boards. Not interchangeable.

John(owner/creator of Nismotronic) has an E-tune option($50) when you buy a board($550) from him.

Sounds like an option if I want to dump my calum board. But was hoping there was an easier solution by just finding some calum compatible software. Sounds like tuner pro is it. I only hope the tuner would use it. Other thoughts ? I'm new to tuning
