SR20VE VVL Mileage Count
How long do these motors last?

By your estimate, how much have you put on the motor and have it still kickin? I'm contemplating getting one since getting a lower mileage de is getting harder.

I've put around 70k or so on mine and it's still kicking. Those were hard miles too. It saw 8.5-9k on a regular basis.

Yup and it is still running strong with N1 cams. I dropped that motor in, in '07.

these motors will run forever just like a de. the 40-60k stuff is hogwash the importers feed you. Most important part if you can is to look at the motor can determine if its one you want or no in about 3 minutes.

You already know I agree. Change the oil like you're supposed to and you're good.

Cool what am I looking for? I won't be able to personally as all importers are hundreds miles away.

Had mine for 5 years an about 40k miles, had a ton of fun with it, from stock cams to n1 back to stock then boosted for over 2 years.

I got mine 2 years ago and I've put 50k on it, its my only car and i daily and beat on it almost every day. I change oil regularly and regular maintenance. They are way more worth it than a DE. Its still running great!
