air fuel ratios vvl
i have connected a wideband on my stock sr20ve with i/h/2.5 inch cutout i am running the de maf and de ecu and my numbers at wot are about 11.7-12.4 is that running too rich? timing is set at 15 may go up to about 17-19

For an NA VE yes that is very much too rich. You need to get a tuneable ecu or piggyback and get it tuned. Don't touch the ignition timing until you do. The ignition tables you are running right now are intended for a DE not a VE. Although I believe the VE tables are more aggressive on timing, it's not a linear scale.

Stock DE from a 92 ecu I think can't remember.

You want to shoot for 13.0-13.1

so will raising the timing about 2 degrees will that help with the air/fuel ratio?

^That's like a DET table, definatly not a stock de or even ve table???

ricardo_m20,
If your on the stock de ecu and maf then set the distributor to 19/20 deg. As for the air fuel, your screwed. Don't waste your time buying an AFC or fuel regulator, you need a basic ecu or nemu setup!

Wait... Don't you have a basic ecu and n60 maf and 333cc injectors? Put that shit back on, because I have a great tune for you. 100X better

What are you using for VVL engagement?

it should stay over the 12.5 range and under 13.2, if you got a stock ecu get a nismo fpr and start dialing it in. But the best way is the chipped ecu and dyno tune, that way it'll have a custom tune for your engine needs, plus you can narrow down the afr to a more specific range

Like i told you on facebook, put your timing at 20-23 and adjust your afr like they said lol de ecu you need to run a lot of timing when your running de ecu, dyno proven to gain a lot of whp
