Oil pickup and pan differences
Hello gentlemen,
Is anyone learned in whether there are any differences in the oil strainers and oil pans between the various VE motors? I am mainly wondering if any of them have a deeper pan/longer pickup. It seems that they have different part numbers, which is what made me curious.
Here are the part numbers I found:

SR16VE (regular & N1)
Oil pan - 11110-1N500
Pickup - 15050-1N500

P11 SR20VE
Oil pan - 11111-2J200
Pickup - 15050-5J200

P12 SR20VE
Oil pan - 11111-2J200
Pickup - 15050-AW000

X-Trail SR20VET
Oil pan - 11110-79E01
Pickup - 15050-54C10

The P11 and P12 pans are the same part number, so the pickups are most likely the same as well. I would mainly like to know how the 16VE and VET compare to them. If anyone is able to provide pictures, that would be even better!
Cheers.

Can anyone please identify which motor this pickup is from? Supposedly it is longer/taller than the standard P11 pickup, though from the picture it looks about the same, other than the added bracing.

Also, after referencing the VET pickup part number, it appears that it actually uses a GTiR pickup. Can this be confirmed?

There are no VVL ones in that thread, unfortunately.

If someone has the opportunity to take a picture of the 20VE and 16VE alongside each other like so, that would be great!

Thank you, that is good to know. I assume it is an SR16VE pickup then.

Can anyone once and for all confirm or refute whether roller-rocker oil pickups fit on VVL oil pumps?
I was under the impression that the flange is different and that the VVL pickups are larger in diameter, but I keep finding contradicting information with some people stating that the RR pickups bolt directly to the VVL pumps.

who knows, i ordered a new pan at the same time and 20ve/RR oil pans are the same so maybe he sent a RR pan and pickup

This is what i have found.

- The P11 SR20VE & SR16VE Pick ups are the same shape/length however for some reason the SOME SR16VE Pick ups have a brace on the tube.
- The SR20VET & SR20DET GTiR share the same pick up. (I have both GTiR and VET blocks & pick ups to compare)
- The VET & GTiR can only be used with an AWD sump/pan.
- To use the VE oil pump on a DET block you require to use the VET/GTiR pick up
