Is that the port shape of the BMW's? if so wow they are really close to the VE's.

I thought it would work but the spacing on the VE's a little different. Prob best bet would be the get some injector holes drilled into the adapter plate at the right angle. Who ever made them should prob redo the design to add the injector holes.

leaky head gasket that hasn't been fixed yet. I haven't had a chance to test it out.

yeah thats the stock bmw e46 m3 50mm itb shape, and the good thing is with the e46 itb's is that you can space them any way you want as they aren't coupled at the butterfly like other itb's. i think cutting the stock inlet like in your post, and welding a plate to it to bolt the itb's to would be the best option, as it will give some needed length to the inlet runners and fix the injector angle problem by using the stock ve placement.

The adapter that Derm makes solves the problem!!

that looks a nice piece kiwi-jappie, but still uses the itb's upside down although it does make the injector direction better. i still think imo using the stock runners would provide the best solution.

yes u are all correct it is the injecotr angle that is a big problem and the length from collector to the muffler, currently at like 12" i have purchased a maz work flange, with the injector port in correct position, i going to weld that to the current one, then run longer runners with a filter that is twice as high.
