there are soo many options out there for this

If you have a basic chipped ecu and want a way to trigger vvl with both rpm and throttle then you would want to use something like a vafc, afc neo, greddy unit, or other similar products that have the capability to do so.

If you want something to trigger just off rpm, then msd window switches and they make a variety that can do only one rpm trigger, ones that can do two different rpm triggers, basic pill type units or digital units.

Ive used the normal msd window switches without any problem. They are easy to wire, trigger both solenoids with one unit. Only thing you have to do when you change rpm point say with different cams or so on is swap the pills out.

The 8969 if i remember correctly is the digital unit that you can change just by pressing a button.

I currently use my AEM EMS to trigger a relay for the VVL. Pretty simple but again its a standalone unit

I use the MSD window switch. Very user friendly, so far no complaints. Word to the wise, wire it to work inside the cabin, it's easier to wire it in the engine bay but you can't see the display (obviously) when driving
