New Engine's Dyno numbers
Hello guys,
So yesteday i went to the dyno with my recently swaped SR20VE, the engine was very very rich and running like crap. I was running a chipped ECU and the tunner used Nistune to tune the ECU. After 3 hours of dyno tunning we finished with this numbers:

173whp and 138ft/lb of torque with opened cut out.

163whp and 131ft/lb of torque with a 2.5" exhaust(i know, i know i need to change it to 3")

I will be posting a video soon...

It is a SR20VE with:
-SSAC header
-2.5" exhaust, 2 flangers are 2.25"...
-3" WAI with J60 MAF.
-Chipped ECU
-Aeromotive FPR with stock fuel pressure.
-XTD 11lb Flywheel with ACT clutch
-Gspec Pulleys(WP and Crank)

Everything else is stock.

ok. stock sr20ve should dyno 158whp or so, so you are not far off with the pulls with 2.5" header. could be a bit higher but dont know the other variables

the open exhaust figures are good though...

wonder if i should try tune/race open exhaust?

Nizmo, look here.

Green line is the SR20DE i used to have.
Blue line is the SR20VE with the 2.5" exhaust
Red line is the SR20VE without the exhaust and just header.

You are right, so my next step is to get a 3 inch exhaust to get those 10whp back... also the engine was running so rich that the sparkplugs were a little damaged, so i hope to come back with a full tune up and the exhaust to get some gains... after that i will have to see were i can get more whp...

u may not get the same peak hp as open but u will get close enuff plus some torque to push u along.... ur power curve should look better also
