SR16 owns a B16 hands down. Hell they even had a match up between the CTR and VZR N1 and N1 came out on top even though the N1 was heavier.

that was a stock EK9 vs a Full option N1 though... watch the rest where the put it against the Spoon EK9 and it doesnt fair so well...

And what consists of full options. lol An exhaust because thats all I see on that car. Sorry. Stock manifold and stock intake box. I dont consider that full option. Hell a full Nismo Z comes with a Nismo intake, Headers, exhaust, and so on.

It has at least very short Nismo trans and probably Nismo cams, exhaust... trans makes big advantage.

I think that B16A against 175HP SR16VE will be faster i think. SR16VE need at least tuned ECU, stock tune is slow...

B16B can be compared to 200HP SR16VE.

Spoon probably had cams and all. I doubt the n1 has aftermarket cams being there really is no aftermarket cams for them especially back in 1999, lol.

B16 has more support just as the whole 2.0 debate and so on. A b16 can be built to well outpower an n1 motor by far but stock for stock the n1 still did pretty good especially being the vzr was a heavier car and the Spoon CTR had a way shorter geared trans if you didnt notice and yes thats a huge advantage. While the n1 was still stuck in its low gear the ctr was pulling back.

Im sure that most of the options are suspension and brake upgrades as well.
