Thread: Custom Intake Manifold

So at the moment im thinking what my next mod would be, I eventually plan to bore 92mm along with a few other bell and whistles. My question is im also plannign to get a custom IM and depending on displacement should i wait or get the custom IM while im still 2.0 and would that IM be good for a bigger bore motor?

if you are really going 92mm dont waste your time on a IM because it will have to be changed anyway going from the small motor to a big one

Build it for the 92 motor and just run it on the 2.0. It won't be ideal but it will still kill the stock manifold. Check the last few pages of the "what we've been up to" thread, I'm just about finishing mine up.

One option is go with a manifold disigned for a bigger motor. It should not hurt the 2.0. It should wake up the 2 liter motor up top.
