I need bigger injectors (got 333s and 370s), Kelfords, pistons, rods, bearings, clutch, headgasket and a machined head.

Thanks!

Big bore oversquare VVL ought to be a lot of fun! I got a set of N1's on the shelf, but might as well get the Kelfords anyway, instead of buying them later and waste money on dyno time.

I got plenty of time to do this right. I don't even have a car for the engine, yet. The P10 in the first picture is all eaten up by rust. I'm deff getting another P10 tho, there is no better FWD in my opinion (the DC5 is probably better, but I'm a Nissan guy)

Btw. DC5/EP3 doesnt have so good front suspension... but engine + trans combo is nice.
I would say P11 is another nice choice, as they are newer, not rusted and cheap (at least here).

Will Nismo 555s do the trick for E85, or should I go for the 740s? I'm wondering if the stock fuel-rail will do the job. Do the DET sidefeed aftermarket rails fit the VE?

I was wondering the same thing when I switched to e85 for my 2.4.. I would definitely spring for the 740cc.I'm hitting over 70% duty cycle with my 740@4bar.
