sr16ve baaaad gas mileage
so i have the stock sr16ve ecu and maf ... the car is getting 24 mpg over all but i mostly drive in traffic...? before with my sr20de that was running like crap i would get 26 i do have the original b13 trans not the short ratio sr16 one..?

car has headers , test pipe, 2.5 cat back 2.75 intake stock sr16ve ecu and matching maf....i pump 91 octane and timing is at 18 i believe

well 23-24 overall i do drive highway maybe 30% of the time... my old sr20de with same exact driving and mods was 26-27 and that was a 2.0 that ran baadd.... real bad... its hard for me to believe that a 1.6 is getting less thats why i'm asking

get a wide band test to see what ur airfuel is like at city driving style.... wen did this issue start.... try resetting the ecu n see if theres a difference

LMAO!! I wish my car got 24mpg on city..!! That actually sounds Like your getting above average MPGs.. I'm getting about 21-22 on city and about 26-27 on the hwy. W/ A/C on.

yeah but you have a sr20ve i have a sr16ve...... and you have bad gas mileage... my friends sr20ve is getting 24-25 city 29-32 highway

Yea as long as you stay out of VVL, a 1.6 should be seeing like 27mpg city. I'm averaging 25mpg city on a DE ecu with VVL pops here and there

Don't matter if it's a 1.6 or a 2.0.. Have you seen the New Vettes pushing 30+mpg out of a 6.2L engine..????

Also, tuning has a big impact in how much MPGs your getting, so does your timing.. are you tuned?
