To check both cams are activating disconnect one at a time and check that you can still hear the change.

I would get rid of the Bosch plugs, grab some NGK's and swap out the wires to a new o.e. set. You will also need a good tune. You should still be over 160whp but it also depends on what type of dyno and what correction factor is being used. Do u know what other cars put out on that dyno. It could be 180whp on another dyno. With your compression numbers and parts list you should definitely be over 160whp. Does it seem to run well?

good point totaled

but i did ask what dyno he was using. it would be good to know what another sr20ve put down

when checking the solenoids, bear in mind that the intake cam sound change is not going to be as pronounced as the exhaust cam

just check the cams with the key on engine off. just hook power and ground to them indepenantly so you can insure for a fact that they are working. you will hear a click when they have power and ground if they are working properly, its a lot easier to hear if they click with out the engine running....
