Thread: SR16ve N1 Pistons in SR20ve

some questions on the SR16ve N1 pistons in the SR20ve motor

1. what compression will it yield? safe for 90 octane?

2. approximate whp gain that should be expected (3" exhaust, header, calum basic, n1 cams)

3. what, if any, modification that may be needed

1) Been discussed before. A search will reveal all.
2) about 3% for every point increased compression
3) you need to notch the bottom skirt of the piston to clear the oil squirter.
