my exhaust solenoid has oil in the sucket, does it mean i need replace? is oil coming up the solenoid because it cant hold oil pressure?

i have replace this with another one i got from a friends ve that was working properly, now i place it on my motor and i keep finding oil on the sucket like pic shows

note:both cams still activate

then in that case

can anyone else confirm this? well someone that has both vvl solenoids operating correctly, just need to confirm is exhaust solenoid is has oil in it even though it works

to me it looks like the solenoid is not holding the oil pressure correctly thus it leaks out

The solenoids are bad when they leak oil like that, a very common problem. They still work when you clean the oil out,but it's just a bandaid.
