Aftermarket (CP) pistons vs Oil Squirters. Notching the skirt?
So yeah, I'm planning on getting some CP 9:1 CR SR20VE pistons, anyone know if they should be notched to clear the oil squirters in my VE?

And if so, what would be the best way to do so?

If they are VE pistons, the come ready to work in a VE.
I believe the skirts aren't as long as stock pistons, so don't need notches.
A dude on our forum asked the same question.

they are notched. The skirts are also shorter than stock so even if they were not notched they should not be able to hit the squirters. I compared my cp vet pistons to my gtir pistons.
