What is the Most Powerful all motor SR20Ve?
Just a few questions. Seeking to build a SR20ve for circuit racing.

Power goal: 250hp. Must be 2.0L and naturally aspirated due to class restrictions.

What mods can achieve this?

Who has the most powerful 2.0vvl motor and what are the mods.

Need something to compete with other 2.0L motors making 250-270hp.

Thanks

Peace

I think a nice SR20ve could be made with high compression, N1 cams or bigger, and lots of head work and E85 fuel.

Strictly a track car so even if it has to use race gas straight, no problem.

You would be looking at custom grind cams not publicly made as of now, an aftermarket intake manifold that has yet to be made (but possibly being designed as we speak), oh yeah, and plan on high comp pistons, headwork (valve job maybe some minor porting/polish), and do NOT forget a 4-1 header which would most likely lead you to Charles (snickers). I myself have yet to see any dyno breaking over 220whp, although some threads do slip through the cracks. But my best guess would be the secret is in a great new cam, and a great new IM, both of which no one has made or admitted to it. There is allot of good info on BOTH those subjects floating around the forum so if you are a smart fellow, you can actually gather a good bit of knowledge as to where you would want to go with the dimensions of these parts.

Oh, and I hope you have a sh*t ton of money, your going to need it! And please do share with us how it goes.

Best of luck!

mine but i wont explain why. btw the hp your stating needs a dry sump system and a more agressive cam then we have at this moment.. i only say the dry sump for longevity of motor. yes is can be done on oem pump but goodluck to you.

Wow, noone has broken 250whp with a simple setup yet? How far can N1 or 20V cams get you before you need an upgrade?

I made 170whp stock. Larger valves should make for a bit of power increase. The head work would also help out a lot. Then really high compression. 13:1 or higher. Maybe 20V cams? ITBs and a good header and standalone. Badabing.

But the op could just be meaning 250 crank, which would be relatively easy to get to.

Very good point Coheed, in that case 250chp is really just N1 cams, a really nice header and high comp pistons, throw in an aftermarket manifold to be safe ha.

It can be done, but you wont find the answers you are looking for on here. You will need head work as there are big restrictions that need to be opened up. Cams, intake, header all the basics need to be addressed. Just out of interest whats your budget?

you can shoot me an email at ddscperformance@gmail.com if you are serious, or just want more info; prices and details

edit: i just noticed you only want 250hp at the fly, not at the wheels. I assumed you where meaning whp. 250hp is quite easy then.

Where you get 2.0 from? A 2.0 litre NA engine puts you in MP2 with Kish's Silvia.

MP2 - 1801cc to 3000cc
