    Default a question

    Hi

can someone tell me what the values for valve clearance mean and where/how to measure and set them?

    Front
    Back
    Whole

why is cylinder 1 set to other values than the rest?

    thanks
    Ronny

    hi

    another question.

I think there is a mistake in the translation. Valve clearance cold should be greater than valve clearance warm, not?

    kind regards Ronny

The translation is correct. The valve/lash clearance grows with an increase in temperature. You can find this out by measuring between hot and cold conditions.

Basically, you will have a shorter duration cam with a little bit less lift when the engine is hot.

for some reason the first post has been deleted. i have some relevant pages, maybe someone else can add to this? there is a page with torque values for everything which is sorely missing.which is this one in japanese.

These might be the images missing from the first post?

    Units are N-m (kg-m).

The units are hidden in the new updated pictures in the first photo, future Mr. Katie Elliot. Thank you!
