Build a damn 2.3L VE bottom end.

92mm pistons $750
Mazworxs Sleeved block $1000
Mazworxs Hedgasket $250

250 WHP and 185 LB Ft Torque here we come.

I called Mazworxs this morning to get an idea of the cost of this project, and they quoted me $2100 for a sleeved block. If you can get it for $1000, let me know. ALso, I thought that a bored motor worked out to 2.2L and the stroked motor was 2.3L Now I'm confused.

i think they gave you a quote for all the parts, or probably cleaning the block, sleeving and then boring, if it was just a sleeve and bore, then i believe it would be the 1000 quoted by andreas.
the 90mm bore gives the 2.2 displacement figure, but andreas also makes reference to going larger via a 92mm bore which gives the 2.3 disp.

The Mazworx quote includes a brand new oil pump, uprated main studs, the cost of the sleeves as well as fitting, boring & decking the block. There's also a core charge if you don't supply the block.

depending on the bore. you can get 2.3 if you go 92mm

Snickers already explained it to me. Keeping the stroke the same as stock:

90mm = 2.2L
92mm = 2.3L

Not confused anymore
