Now its time Mr Happynole to do something really special.

Build a damn 2.3L VE bottom end.

92mm pistons $750
Mazworxs Sleeved block $1000
Mazworxs Hedgasket $250

250 WHP and 185 LB Ft Torque here we come.

^^^ it doesnt seem all that expensive when you put it like that now does it. But i am sure if you are gonna build a 2.3 yuou arte going to go all new seals and gaskets, balance everything, crank knife edging etc which will set you back another grand or so

Why do you need to knife edge the crank to build a 2.3L? Hmmm.

My Tomei 91mm crank is not knifeedged.

$80 in front seal, main seal and a few others seals.
$100 to balance the rotational assembly. 95% of the time the SR20DE crank comes back perfectly balanced
$200 in bearings

Oh Oh
$12 in 3 tubes of grey silicone.

Yeah I know we are braking the bank here. Not sure where you got $1000 from.

Yeah I know real expensive..

I stand corrected - it was 211 and 151. I was going off the memeory of an old man last night.

We are switching the intake at 5600 and the exhaust at 6300. This gave us the smoothest line of any switch points we tried. Once my Realtime shows up we'll work with the cam gears and see where we get. It also seems like we are just starting to level off when we hit the fuel cut, the new ecu will take us to 10 if needed.

Your playing around Joe, you need to pull this b!tch to 8500 RPMs to get the rest of the dyno pull above 200 WHP. Thats also where your going to have to shift it at to get your best 1/4 miles times when racing.

Also make the switch point 200 RPMs higher and you will not even see it on the graph when it switches over.
