Default Mazworx SR20VE/SR20DET Project

A friend decided to donate his car for a build we've been trying to work on. This will be a SR20VE head (VVL) to a SR20DET block. For those that dont know much about the VVL head, its pretty much a Honda VTEC setup, so VVL head + boost ='s much power and less head breakage of parts. The VVL head flows much better and has stronger components than of the regular SR20DET head. This is the same head we run on our drag Silvia S15 better known as "The Green Machine"

Here are pics of it starting to pull the motor apart.

I LOVE this concept... I'm just hoping the drift tax doesn't bring up the price of the VE heads...

Sure has Tekkie. Doesn't mean it's not bad-ass and/or threadworthy.

Was just in the way I read the thread (as in it hadn't been done before ) Not saying it's not badass by any stretch of the imagination Every car I've seen from Mazworx is BADASS.

It has been done before but we wanted to make something available to everyone so they can do it easier. We already have the VVL solenoid relocation plates done so we actually get to build a kit for it now.

They don't need to do a FWD application. The solenoids don't ass rape our firewalls.

How close to the firewall will be CAS be. Any cutting necessary?

Dre how hard is it to get ahold of a 20V CAS? My uncle back home is in the process of putting a VE head on his Datsun.
