Roller rocker + EMS
Ive been thumbing through the 2001 sentra FSM trying to figure out the iacv system.
Its very unlike the B13 system, and there is a "throttle opener" actuator.

Are both of these needed to have the idle right with a standalone?

If your going to run EMS, convert to Lowport intake mani and use lowport IACV. It will gain you around 10whp too. RR IACV is overly complex and uses a step motor.

im skipping converting it to lowport stuff, for now, b/c after I have it going a while. I plan on getting the dougfab lowport intake he's working on.
But in the meantime, Im rolling with what I have.

I also like that I can use GTR 570cc injectors with the RR rail.

Also... is it worth going back to the junkyard to look for the oem IAT and MAP sensors?

This is the wiring diagram I could find.
I imagine only one side needs a signal to hole the idle, but dont know.

Not sure of if the stock MAP or IAT is worth the crap. You could always convert to old style IACV, kind of like O2 induction manifold does. That's the easiest way to do things, or you can try to figure out the logic of the new IACV

Heck I ran a manual IACV for a few months...

I believe I have an old iacv somewhere, and I thought about using the EGR port like you are with your manual valve. I'll just have to figure out how to remove the RR's stuff and bypass it.
But while its there, I might see what AEM says about the RR iacv. If they already have base tune with the settings for it... I may try to use it.

Do you know the deal with the throttlebody opener?

Newest diagram found...

I believe that if I take it off the motor and use some jumper wires and a drill battery, I might figure out what which wires I wont need

My motor was toast anyway, so I just left it plugged up (it was stuck fully closed). That's how I kept additional air from going in.
