Maaan Real time or don't bother...

By the time you buy all of the things needed to burn and log, your almost halfway to the point of a Nemu, the other half pays for it self everytime you have to make a tune adjustment.

I already have a Consult cable. Isn't there free software I can use to alter a bin?

Blam, Tunerpro. Opensource, free. What else do I need to buy?

I think I'm going to get real good at removing and burning ROMs lol. I think I can even do this on the side of the road during my 'dyno' sessions on the highway

Fyi TunerPro is not opensource, it's just free (or nag screen) .

I would not change out eproms on the road, that's just asking for trouble . With Eprom's I highly suggest getting it dyno tuned. Also what logging software are you planning on using?

I've been spoiled by Nemu, I tend to forget the days of blind tuning with Nissan Data Scan and TunerPro. Don't get me wrong TunerPro is awesome, but without proper map tracing and AFR logging your blind tuning.

you're probably right Vadim. That being the case, the best I can probably do is a safe base tune. I figure it will be as good/bad/safe as a JWT tune.

Actually JWT tunes are pretty darn good for generic tunes that are supposed to work on all X setup cars.

Your best bet is to find a calum tune for your setup then build on it.
