WOT Box Affect with Realtime?
Do you guys think it's possible to incorporate the WOT Box affect via Real Time ECU? I can't imagine it being possible, but who knows, I didn't think it was possible to lower the Fan start up temperatures either, and was proven wrong.

It is very possible, provided there is an ASCD (cruise control) clutch switch wired to an available input on the ECU. That WOT box cuts power to the ignition system so the spark plugs don't fire. I'm not crazy about this method because of all of the raw fuel that's being pumped through the system while the ignition is cut. There is a warning about this in the WOT documentation. What do you think would be a better method? Retard timing? Cut or reduce fuel? Both?

Maybe they only cut the timing because cutting the fuel will make for a slower engine "come back"? But if the fuel is there, then all it needs is just the spark, this could be good for engine cooling with extra gas too.

Someone make this happen.

I can make this happen in the first release of the TunerCode firmware. The trick is the clutch switch and which input to use for it. If you don't have a Calum RTV2 with it's extra inputs, then you would have to give up one that's already being used for something else. If you don't have AC, you could use that switch, or if you do, you might be willing to give up the PSP (Power Steering Pressure) switch, which doesn't get used much anyway.

How can i tell if i have what is needed? I have a Calum RT not sure which version though. What would you have to do? send a new xdf? Or would you have to have my ECU?

Anybody want to be a guinea pig for this?

How old is your RT?

I dunno what I would give up, maybe PS. Car is too daily to give up much...

You wouldn't have to give up power steering, just the PSP (power steering pressure) switch. The PSP switch tells the ECU when you've turned the steering wheel to full lock and the power steering fluid pressure is very high. This causes a heavy load on the power steering pump, so if you're at idle, the signal from the switch tells the ECU to increase the idle valve (AAC) opening to keep the engine from stalling. That's why it's "not used very much".

theres a few other things probably that you could run it into, i remember on the bikes they had a dynojet application for it that cut ignition momentarily.. it seemed pretty cool although i never found a need for it...nor did i care when i was doing no lift. most bikers any way prefered to just blip the throttle and kick it up a gear (seqential manual as opposed to constant synchromesh) ...as for the NX if i do a no lift my rpms go up MAYBE by 300rpms and thats with a stock throw shifter....depends on how fast you are if you need it or not....i honestly think if you doit youll have to have a calum ecu..

btw dfddfd2, is the rtv2 out already or not i havent c hecked
