does anyone have/purchased tuner code yet?
well i purchased tunercode but im having trouble opening BLinker.exe. which I renamed and the TCT file..i click on it & my adobe reader comes on saying "Adobe could not open BLinker.exe.rename"because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for example.it was sent as a email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded) i get this from both files.so i am not able to export tune data from an existing bin file and import to my tunercode bin file... is anyone having the same issue? lmk

You need to rename it to BLinker.exe (REMOVE ".rename")

It may open with Adobe Reader but you should try to set it up as a desktop shortcut. I had the same issues and had to remove "rename" while it was in desktop shortcut to open BLinker.exe.

To rename BLinker_exe.rename to BLinker.exe:
1) Run Windows Explorer and find the directory where you extracted the TunerCode files.
2) Right click on BLinker_exe.rename
3) Select "rename" from the popup menu.
4) Type in BLinker.exe
5) Hit Enter key.

To create a desktop shortcut (icon on desktop):
1) Right click on BLinker.exe
2) Move pointer to "Send To"
3) Click on "Desktop (create shortcut)"

To run BLinker.exe:
1) Double click on BLinker.exe in Windows Explorer........or..
Double click on BLinker.exe icon on desktop.

Dave,

Offtopic on this thread but when will tunercode be available for B14? Any fresher estimates?

Hopefully, TunerCode for B14 should be ready in April, but sometime this spring for sure.

Awesome. If it's available before I get the car sold, I may have to hang on to her for a little while longer

So in the end what was decided? To revert the fuel map to B13 OBDI style (128 for 14.7, etc) or to keep the B14 "direct" AFR system?
