Nope.
I had to get creative with the puller.

Did that work on the race as well?

This particular needle bearing had no inner race, only the outer race. Here's a pic of the new one fully installed.

I just pushed the rollers out by prying lightly on one. If I had to reuse the bearing, I would think I treated it lightly enough to pop the rollers out, and be able to pop them back in and re-use if I had to.

The race thats above it in the picture, beside the VSS.

I had to get that mainshaft bearing out so i could get the plastic oil channel out because they are on back order.

So i pulled the bearings out something like you, but used a 3/4" wrench and a rubber mallet as a fulcrum.

my problem is getting the race out (diff sits on it)

Okay so you're trying to remove the outer race for the LSD out of the case?
I've never done that or dealt with that. I'm sorry. I will be of no help. =(
It's entirely possible that getting creative with the puller would work there too.

At the time, it was straight MT-90. Right after the four bearing replacement I think I went to the 50/50 mix that I have in there now (and dislike).
