Default Help me fix leaking steering rack.

My rack has urinated steering fluid all over my garage floor.

What is the best way to fix this? Rebuild with new seals/etc? Get a remanned rack and pinion (cheapest I've found is $250)?

Any links to replacement procedure? I've got a FSM, but it's sometimes easier to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics than read that manual.

Thanks.

Matt

From what I can tell, everydamnwhere.

I think it's coming out of the end. But it's dripping from several places. Tough to be sure.

clean the area well, dry it, then see where the leak/s are coming from. Once you find that tear down to where you see the issue. I know it cant be easy to take that thing out with the motor in.

I was thinking the transmission was going to need to come out.
