Rain policy at Roebling?
Does anyone know the rain policy there? The forecast seems to be getting worse.

I'll run even if its raining, if they'll let us.

I just checked nws again, precip probability is going up but accumulation is very light still, esp. for Friday, which is all we care about for Roebling, as opposed to barely north where they're calling for 4-5" in gawdawfulanta. I would expect that if you have decently treaded street tires they'll let you run, although I've only been there for scca races. SCCA, they'll let you run slicks if you're dumb enuff :-). The track itself is fine wet. You guys are going to chug thru serious wetness, tho, on your way from up yonder and around this wretched town (you can tell just how much I love atlanta - -). My guess is that you'll run pretty much like in an autocross - with enough time in between cars so that each of you can either get around or screw up by yourselves and not ding anyone else. Ya hafta have a license to go out there and actually compete. I'M GUESSING, but I presume it's like when they run things like bimmer club at RA.

sigh, probability went up another dime; 70%; now calling for tenth to a quarter. Still likely it won't be horrible.

IDK, I lived in Oregon for 20 years, rain is just another condition to deal with. Sure is intolerant of over-driving, like autocross, you can bury a slew of mistakes in the dry with good traction, you can't get away with that **** in the wet

At least its been raining already so you're hopefully not dealing with fresh rain on a dry track that has been dry for a long time, that is the worst conditions to drive in.

No question there is still fun to be had

Nope. Just lots of time on course, notice the lack of cars in this late day session, like running a TT compared to the morning - that's the sign of a lot of good track time!
