Convention registration is open
Registration is now open at GSpec.com

G Spec Performance - SR20 National Convention Registration

Greg did a great job with a bunch of links for the track, picnic site, maps to events, and even stuff to do in Savannah.

I have a question. If I'm going and participating in the track event, and want some shirts and raffle tickets, I'll go through one order form. Do I need to go through another for my girlfriend who will also be coming, but won't be doing the track day, doesn't need any shirts or tickets (I'll have hers on my order) or do I just need to do one?

I think just one. He's got it setup where you can purchase multiple picnic tickets, so I'm assuming its one registration per family/couple/etc, assuming only one person is doing the track event.

How is the track day going to be split up? Are there going to be beginner, advanced groups? How many sessions? Duration of Sessions?

Will there be an ambulance on site?

Is there a deadline for this? I would like to possibly look at coming, however, I know I am going to have a business event for around that time frame but specific dates and locations are not concrete yet.

Hopefully this question hasn't been answered with that link, I skimmed through it, but didn't see any thing listed.

It will be split up by beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups, with the possibility of 2 beginner groups depending on numbers. I think sessions will be about 20-25 minutes and the number of sessions will depend on how many people register. An ambulance is required by the track and is already in our budget, as well as a fire truck and a wrecker.

We did not set an expiration on registering for the convention. However, to get the discounted rate at the Cambria Suites hotel you need to make a reservation by January 27th.

Greg, Joe, nice work, guys. Roebling is a fantastic little track, ought to be enormous fun for our cars. Crewed the Lola there once or twice a season for six or so years. Savannah is a great town, caters well to the touristas (us) without being snooty about it; a goodly number of superb restaurants (my favorite is Sushi-zen on Whitaker) for foodies and, for those who haven't seen much of it, the Atlantic is to be had several ways, most easily by running out to Tybee Island (commercialized, but there may be some more isolated spots too).
